Looking through a global lens into the coming year, what are your hopes and fears, as Oregonians and as global citizens? Many are concerned about the rise of nationalism and what that means for U.S. alliances, trade relationships, and issues like human rights and climate change. Where should we look to find solutions? How do we bridge ideological divides in America? How are other countries facing similar issues? What is our call to action?

C.U.L.T., A text-speak acronym for "C U Last Tuesday", is a monthly program put on by the Young Professionals of the World Affairs Council of Oregon. The theme and format of the event changes from month to month, but what doesn't vary is the promise to entertain, educate, and broaden your horizons. Invite your friends and we'll see you on the last Tuesday of each month!

JANUARY 31:

Looking through a global lens into the coming year, what are your hopes and fears, as Oregonians and as global citizens? Many are concerned about the rise of nationalism and what that means for U.S. alliances, trade relationships, and issues like human rights and climate change. Where should we look to find solutions? How do we bridge ideological divides in America? How are other countries facing similar issues? What is our call to action?

The Young Professionals group would like to hear from you and anyone in the Oregon community. What types of events, topics, and issues would you like to see our organization address in 2017? Your feedback will shape our future.
