Cultural Vistas, a partner organization of the World Affairs Council of Oregon, is now accepting applications for the American Youth Leadership Program with Japan.  Eligible high school students and educators will have the opportunity to travel to Japan as part of the Japan – America Watershed Stewardship Project.  Through virtual collaboration and a three-week exchange to Japan in summer of 2012, participants will explore U.S. - Japan relations and watershed ecology.

High school students age 15-17 and educators (teachers, trainers, school administrators, and/or community leaders who work with youth) with an interest either in Japan or in ecology/environmental issues should apply by Monday, November 28th.  For more information and application materials please visit Cultural Vistas’ website at: http://www.culturalvistas.org/JAWS2012/index.htm.
