A look inside a recent visit by ten women working in the sciences that came to Oregon as part of the World Affairs Council of Oregon’s International Visitor Program.
In April, 24 high school students from sub-Saharan Africa came to Portland as part of the U.S. Department of State Pan-Africa Youth Leadership Program. One of their main goals in Portland was to develop an action project to implement in their communities, utilizing the skills and techniques learned during the program.
