Tickets bought online through PCPA can be printed or picked up at Will Call.  Note: there is no open, general admission seating for the event with His Holiness the Dalai Lama; all seats are numbered and reserved. Series ticket-holders will receive their tickets in the mail in early April

Call our office: Series tickets can be ordered directly through the Council offices by calling 503-306-5252, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM—5:00 PM. To order single tickets on the day of the event, you may call the PCPA box office at (503) 946-7272.

Visit our downtown office: If you are in the area, please feel free to stop by our offices and order your tickets in person. We are located at 1200 SW Park Ave., Portland, OR 97205 in the Oregon Historical Society building. Let the museum admissions know you are here for the World Affairs Council and they will direct you to our offices on the third floor. Please note: only General Admission tickets will be distributed upon purchase; all Reserved seating ticket orders will still be mailed or placed at will-call for pick-up the night of the first event.

Buy tickets at the Schnitzer: Series packages and single tickets will be available for purchase for the first three lectures at the will call booth located at the entrance to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall beginning at 5:00 PM on the day of each event.

About the Ordering Process

Is the ordering process safe? If you’re ordering tickets online or over the phone, you can rest assured that your personal information is safe. The Council uses a secure web-based system to manage ticket orders, and once processed, all card information is erased. While this makes the ticket ordering process more secure, it also means that you will have to resubmit payment information should you decide to purchase additional tickets at a later date.

What if I want the same seats I had in years past? We value our longtime Series Subscribers and will do everything we can to ensure that you get the seats you want! If you are interested in obtaining the same seats you’ve held in previous years, we ask that you be sure to order your tickets before the "Same Seats Deadline" which will be announced at the start of each season.

When and how will I receive my tickets? Tickets can either be mailed or held at will call for pick-up the night of the first event.

What if I need wheelchair accessibility? If you would like to order tickets and require special accommodations, we ask that you call our offices directly at 503-306-5252 to discuss your options. Nearly all ticket levels are wheelchair accessible so consider what ticket level you would like, give us a call, and we’ll help you find a seat! For your reference, there is a seating chart available for viewing on this site.

Are tickets refundable? Once tickets have been mailed, no refunds will be made. If you would like to donate a purchased ticket you cannot use back to the Council for student use, please call 503-306-5252.

Can I order tickets after the first event has taken place? Yes. Series subscriptions will be available for purchase throughout the 2013 ISS season. With each passing lecture, prices will be adjusted to represent the remaining number of speakers.
