Young Professionals
The Young Professionals (YPs) extend the World Affairs Council of Oregon’s reach into the local and international community by creating programs and events that engage Oregon’s young professionals who are passionate about global affairs.
The YPs include a diverse community of internationally-mined, early to mid-career professionals who share an interest in learning about the world, traveling abroad, networking with local and international leaders and expanding their knowledge of today’s pressing global issues.
YP programs and events are open to everyone and provide a wide range of social, cultural and educational activities – all with an international flavor. From discussion groups to trivia nights, expert speakers to international visitor receptions, the YPs connect Oregon’s globally-minded community with each other and with the world.
To build community and strengthen our programs, we partner with other community organizations and businesses. Interested in partnering? Send an email for more information to youngprofessionals
