An Evening with Gen. David Petraeus (U.S. Army Ret.)
Conflict: The Evolution of Warfare from 1945 to Gaza

Join WorldOregon for an engaging conversation with retired General David Petraeus on the history and evolution of warfare, drawn from his recent book (co-authored with Andrew Roberts). Conflict: The Evolution of Warfare from 1945 to Gaza is both a sweeping history of the changing face warfare up to Putin’s invasion of the Ukraine and the current war in Gaza, and a penetrating analysis of what we must learn from the past—and anticipate in the future—in order to navigate an increasingly uncertain and perilous world. Additionally, General Petraeus will offer crucial critical perspectives on the frontiers of U.S. global engagement, from regional conflicts to great power competition, and other foreign policy challenges with serious implications for our future national security.
