Hosting

Overnight Hosting is a great way to connect with international exchange participants, build lasting connections, and share your love for Portland and Oregon through sightseeing and cultural excursions. Our international visitors stay for two weeks and attend programs and activities during the work week.   

Homestay Hosts provide:

• Provide a warm and safe home-away-from-home with a private bedroom, access to a bathroom, breakfast, and dinners on most days. 
• Spend evenings and weekends getting to know your guests and showing them around your favorite spots. 
• Assist with local transportation, in coordination with WorldOregon staff and other Homestay Hosts. 
• Complete a background check and a home visit from a WorldOregon staff person.
