I support WorldOregon because I believe that cross-cultural engagement and dialogue across differences is essential to creating peaceful and productive global community.

I am excited about WorldOregon's future because it is well situated to serve our community's need to experience diverse perspectives and engage in productive dialogue about the many challenges and opportunities we face at home and abroad.

My true calling: creating opportunities for those I care about (family, friends, my students) to experience lesser known parts of the world, specifically places or cultures they consider too "foreign", dangerous, or complicated to visit on their own.
